Article

Human trafficking is a crime of illegal transportation and trade of humans, most commonly for the purpose of forced labour, sexual slavery or commercial sexual exploitation for the traffickers or others. It’s not always transporting from one country to another but it can be from an area to area. Human Trafficking is a highly organized and lacerative (producing a great deal of profit) business.

Human Trafficking is a modern day slavery, which includes the trafficking of children, organ trade, and forced marriage. Because of its sex trafficking, it increases the risk of contracting HIV and AIDS. This has become a global threat to vulnerable men, women and children worldwide. Traffickers use victims that have been trapped in this act to lure other victims in.

Human Trafficking is the third largest international crime industry. Nearly 80% of human trafficking is for sex and 19% for labour exploitation. The people involved in the terrible act of Human Trafficking, earn $ 9 to $ 31.6 billion globally.

Making sure to raise awareness of this illegal crime, and making sure that there is help for all who are trapped in this terrible act, is extremely important. This could lead to the solution of getting them out of danger.

REMEMBER: EVERY 30 SECONDS ANOTHER PERSON BECOMES A VICTIM OF HUMAN TRAFFICKING.

WE NEED TO STOP THIS!
